Accountant & Office Co-Ordinator
The Role
You Will Be Responsible For
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Payment Collections, Following up with Clients.
- Docuements Controling.
- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Maintaining account receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
- Updating financial records via accounting software
- Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets
- Review the accounts of companies and other organizations to ensure their financial records are correct and in line with the law.
- Ensuring that assets are protected.
- Undertaking reviews of wages.
- Determining taxable income, applicable tax deductions, and nontaxable expenses.
- Filing of VAT as per Oman law.
- Cross verifies the product invoices entered into the software.
Ideal Profile
- You have at least 1 year experience within a Payroll Accountant role, ideally within the Staffing / Executive Search industry.
- You have working knowledge of tally erp 9, odoo
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
